The Toronto Party for a Better City (the "Toronto Party") is a non-partisan, civic electoral organization that has no affiliation to any other political party in Canada. The party was founded in 2006 by Stephen Thiele and Brian Roussie. In 2009, the organization was incorporated under the Ontario Corporations Act.
The Toronto Party will focus on:
We plan to contest all 44 council seats and the Mayoral seat in the 2010 City of Toronto election.
We will advocate positions designed to halt Toronto's decline and designed to build a better Toronto for our current residents and our future generations.
While others talk about building a better city, it is our goal to deliver a plan that will make Toronto a better city.
Are you tired of career politicians?
Are you tired of them wasting your money?
